- Stafford Loans – are loans provided by private lenders under federal government program and provides a funding resource for US citizens. International students are not eligible for Stafford loans but US students who study abroad or directly enrolled in approved foreign school can apply for Stafford loans in order to get enough funding and may apply for private loans for other financial needs.International students strive hard to fund their international education.
